Ubu and the Truth Commission is a famous play written by Dr Jane Taylor and originally directed by William Kentridge. First put on in 1997 during the actual Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the play has been revived with associate director Janni Younge taking the reins on behalf of William Kentridge. Archetype went to interview Janni about Ubu and the Truth Commission, as well as to discover the intricacies of working with multimedia in a theatre production.
